Raymond Thibeault & Nicole Thibeault (born Villemaire)
It is with deep sadness, but also with respect for their final wishes, that we announce the passing of Mr. Raymond Thibeault, at the age of 86, from heart failure, and his wife, Mrs. Nicole (Villemaire) Thibeault, at the age of 85, from pulmonary failure.
Departing hand in hand on July 3, 2025, in peace and serenity, they chose to die together, united as they have always been, thanks to medical assistance in dying. Their passing marks the end of a beautiful story of love and complicity, lived with respect, tenderness, and dignity for over 63 years.
They are survived by their daughter, Sylvie (André), their grandchildren, Maxime (Geneviève) and Alex, their great-grandson, Léo, André’s sister, Josée Fortin and her son William, Raymond’s brother and sister, Roger and Fleurette, Nicole’s brothers, Claude (Rolande) and André (Nicole), their nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends, all deeply affected by their passing and inspired by their courage and unwavering love.
They have been entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home Ltd.

Their remains will be cremated in accordance with their wishes, and the family will gather in private.
The family would like to thank all the healthcare staff at Anna-Laberge Hospital, and especially
Dr. Jean-Philippe Parent, for the excellent care provided to Raymond and Nicole.
