Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. André Dufour, who passed away suddenly at Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on September 19, 2026, at the age of 71. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Lynn Boucher.

A kind, caring man who was deeply loved by his family, André will be remembered for his generosity, his warm presence and his compassion, which touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A hardworking and devoted man, his passing leaves an immense void in the hearts of his family and loved ones. His love and the precious memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in each of them.

He has gone to join his son Jessy, who passed away far too soon in 2024, as well as his parents, the late Mr. Réal Dufour and the late Mrs. Marcelle Guinois.

Besides his beloved wife Lynn, he leaves to mourn his sons Martin (Isabelle) and Patrick, his daughter-in-law, Marie-Hélène (the late Jessy); as well as his grandchildren Jeremy, Mathieu, Éloïse, Charlie, Livia and Maverick.

He also leaves to mourn his sisters Louise (Robert), Colette and Denise (Michel), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Salon B of the Saint-Constant Funeral Complex.
