Peacefully in Kahnawake, surrounded by family, on March 28th, 2023, at the age of 70, passed away Mr. John Lahache.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Carlene, his parents Edith and Paul Lahache and his brother George.
He leaves behind his children Amy Lee (Kyle) and Hunter (Sondra), his grandchildren Rohsenakehte, Watatewen:niio, Iotenhari:io, Rahontsaka’en:ions and Tekaronhiawakon, his brothers and sisters Valerie, Thomas (Elaine), Floyd (Margaret), Rosemary (Darren) and Shari (Harold), aunt Josie as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thank you to all the staff in the short-term care unit at KHMC and Dr. Deveault for the good care provided.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Played hockey, lacrosse with Big John. He was also a great football player. He had connections with Jacques Demers in hockey and John Ferguson in lacrosse. Not enough room to elaborate but John was a teammate who took care of business for his team. Cousin and teammate Tewenhni’tatshon Louis Delisle
I think about him surrounded by his grandchildren like a mountain like a huge bear I remember his big hands and bigger smile To all of us left I send my love He walked into paradise to his wife and his mom and father .and his cousin Stephen .
