I have missed my high school days with Krissy. She was such a sweet heart and a cool person. Although we haven't seen each other for more then 20 years. I shalll remember your kindness and coolest.

I met Krissy when I worked at KSS between 2011-2016. She created so many wonderful memories at that school, including when we coached the girls volleyball team and became GMAA champions during the 2015-2016 school year. Her sense of humor, infectious laughter, and positive attitude will forever remain in my memory.
After all these years we still kept in touch and connected in person. When I left KSS to go teach in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Krissy dropped calling me by my name and nicknamed me Nanook (which means polar bear in Inuktitut). "Nanooooook" she'd say, and we'd laugh every single time she'd call me that! I'll miss that.
Her impact on the community, school and her students will be felt for years to come. She was a wonderful teacher, coach, colleague and friend; a true champion. Rest in power my dear friend.
Sending my deepest condolences to her loved ones.
