Jimmy Sheik
DEER
Surrounded by his family, on December 12, 2025 at the age of 73 years, passed away Jimmy Sheik, from Kahnawake.
He is predeceased by his parents Angus and Louisa and his siblings Joyce, Ida, Warren and Davey.
He is survived by his children Autumn (Peter) and Amber (Matt). Kim beloved mother to Tiffany (Gary), Jimmilee, Travis (Raven)and his grandchildren Ashley, Bruce, Alek, Jojo, Vincent, Vivian, Zye, Jersey, Paddy, Ellie, Shaw and Winston and his great grandchild Iris. His brother Lionel (Carolyn), his sisters Barbara (Terry), Tootsie and Darlene, many nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and his beloved pets Charlie, Boodsie and Whitley.
‘’Jimmy Sheik Deer’’ was the nickname of Jimmy Deer, a respected and well-liked resident of Kahnawake community in Quebec who recently passed away. The nickname appears to have been a personal identifier rather than a reference to a character in popular culture.
He was remembered by his friends and community members for his charismatic personality, sense of humor, and dedication to volunteering with local organizations like Free Food for Everyone. He was also known for:
- Sports Broadcasting : Working as a Sports Broadcast personality at local radio station K103 (KRK)
- Hobbies: Having and extensive collection of small car collectibles and love for sports, which he would often watch on multiple television at one.
- Community involvement: Being an active and kind member of the Kahnawake community, often sharing stories and having a ‘’rambunctious goodbye’’.

The family are receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 16 from 2pm, Wednesday December 17, and Thursday December 18. Ceremony will be held on the last day at 2 p.m followed by a burial at Kateri Cemetery.
