Surrounded by his family, on August 14, 2026, at the age of 93, Mr. Guy Viau of St-Isidore, husband of the late Blanche Marcotte, passed away.
He leaves to mourn his sons Jean-Marc (Nathalie) and Roger (Marie), his grandchildren Alexandre, Fanny, Maxime, Gabriel, and Meggie, his dear friend Solange, his brothers-in-law Jean-Marie (Lise) and Raymond, his sisters-in-law Thérèse (Jacques) and Louise (Joseph), his nephews and nieces, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Poissant & Son Funeral Home.
The family will receive condolences on August 29 starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint-Isidore Parish Church.
Interment of the ashes will take place the same day in the parish cemetery.

Toutes mes sympathies vous accompagnent à l'occasion du décès de votre père. Je garde un excellent souvenir de Guy lorsqu'il était marguiller. Un homme dévoué, généreux et très supportant pour l'équipe pastorale; un croyant engagé en étant au service des autres. Il vit maintenant dans la paix avec le Seigneur tout près de votre mère Blanche. Laissez-vous habiter par de bons et doux souvenirs. Bonne poursuite; je serai avec vous de tout coeur samedi.
