Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on September 19, 2025, Mr. Joël Ouellet, husband of Catherine LaRue, passed away at his home. He was the son of the late Mario Ouellet and the late Jacqueline Ouellet.
A unifying figure, he always placed family at the center of his life. Generous and loving, he leaves us with memories of precious moments and the wish that we continue to enjoy life and remain united.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Alexandra (Sébastien) and Marie-Pier, his brothers and sisters Gilles (Lucie), Denis (Denise), Alain (Suzanne), Rina (Gérald), Sylvain (Lyne), André (Sylvie), and Céline (Gervais), his many nieces and nephews, and several other relatives and friends.
He has been entrusted to the Poissant & Fils funeral home.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Saint-Isidore Church, 673 Rue Saint-Régis, Saint-Isidore-de-Laprairie, Quebec J0L 2A0, for condolences starting at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
