Michaud
It is with hearts filled with affection that we announce the passing of Joël Michaud, aged 61, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Geneviève-Judith Sirois; his children Brianna (Émile), Léanne (Sacha), and Alan (Jasmine); his mother Reina Girard; his mother-in-law Aline Belzile; his brothers-in-law Joël (Nancy) and Gino, as well as Jean-Michel, Étienne, Caroline, Isabelle, and Sandra, whom he considered as his brothers and sisters; his goddaughters Sabrina, Jolyanne, and Méliane; his nephews and nieces Marc-Olivier, Michel-Alexandre, Cassandra and Lysandre, Alexis and Frédérique; his uncle Berthold; Diane; and many relatives, colleagues, and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A brief tribute will follow at Poissant et Fils Funeral Home, located at 180 St-Pierre Street, Saint-Constant.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Kateri CLSC and the MUHC, in particular Lyne Boulianne (CLSC nurse) and IPS Andréanne Chevette (MUHC), for their help and the compassionate care provided.
