Roddy Sr.
MELOCHE
At the Kateri Memorial Hospital, on April 21st, 2026, at the age of 76, Mr. Roddy Sr. Meloche of Kahnawake passed away peacefully.
Roddy Sr. proudly served for four years in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran, a service he carried with great pride.
He is reunited with his wife Joanne McComber, his mother Doris Lazare, his father Maurice Meloche, and his brother Barry Meloche, who predeceased him.
He will be deeply missed by his children Landon (Melanie), Deidra (Wenetiio), Andrea (Mark), and Roddy Mark Jr (Sandi-Jo), his 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as his daughter Kiersten, her 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He also leaves behind his sisters Allison, Sandra, and Raina, his brothers Allan and Terry, along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Legion from 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 23rd. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th at the Saint-Francis-Xavier-Mission Church, followed by a military burial at the Kateri Cemetery.
