Michel
Larivière
Michel Larivière, born October 17, 1946, in Lachine, son of the late Jacques Marcel Larivière and the late Lucille Groulx, passed away on March 7, 2026.
He is survived by his beloved children from his marriage to Louise: Josée, Jean-Marc, Isabelle Ann, and Carl (Elaine); his four grandchildren: Nathan and Magalie (children of Louis-René Roy), as well as Stella and Anaïs.
Michel also leaves to mourn his brother Pierre (the late Rose-Marie); his beloved sister, Louise (Jean-Claude); his sister-in-law, Joan (the late Roger); his brother-in-law, Robert Gagnon; his nephews Brian and his sister Nancy Larivière, Éric and his godson Luc Sambault, Stéphane and his godson Luc, and Patrick Dugas; as well as many cousins from the Larivière, Jarry, and Groulx families.
Michel cherished precious friendships from his childhood in Montreal, Delson, and Saint-Constant, as well as at his workplace, Seagram, in LaSalle. He is remembered by several close friends, whom the family thanks for their sincere friendship and support.
The Archangel Saint Michael first received you at the Church of the Holy Angels of Lachine. Today, their choir welcomes the music lover you were. Together, you will make heaven more melodious.
At the dawn of his passing, Michel still proclaimed:
“Life is beautiful.”

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Salon B of the Saint-Constant funeral complex, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a farewell ceremony in the complex chapel at 4:00 p.m.
