LAFORTUNE
Surrounded by her family, on December 9, 2025, Mme Ginette Lafortune passed away at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband, Mr Michel Hamelin.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her children Stéphane (Nadine), Isabelle (André), and Marc-André (Cindy); her grandchildren Mathys, Nicolas, Nathan, Jayden, Jérémy, and Lilyrose; her brother Sylvain (Rosy); her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Guy, Pierre, Lyne (François), and Johanne (Sylvain); her friend Mario; her dog Buddy; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visits on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a short tribute by the family at the end of visitations.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to a charity of your choice.
The family warmly thanks everyone who shares in their grief. They also wish to express their sincere gratitude to the healthcare staff at the CHUM for the excellent care provided to Ginette.
