Peacefully and courageously, surrounded by her family, Carmelle Gendron passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 83. She is now reunited with her husband, Mr. Jean-Charles Faille; her parents, Narcisse and Annette; her brother Pierre; and her sisters Lucette and Françoise.
She leaves to mourn her children, Chantal (Bruno), Pierre (Julie) and Sylvain; her grandchildren, Michaël, Stéphanie, Jo-Annie, Alexandre, Laurianne, Marc-André, Vincent and Dany; her great-grandchildren, Vincent, Loralie, Matis, Justin and Camille; her sister Solange (Robert); her brother-in-law Camille; as well as several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
She was entrusted to Poissant & Fils Funeral Home

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. A ceremony in her honour will follow in the Complex chapel at 3 p.m.
In her memory, donations to the Anna-Laberge Foundation would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the healthcare staff at Anna-Laberge Hospital, as well as the staff at Manoir Saint-Rémi, where she resided during the last few months..
