It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Josephine Diabo Horne on November 2nd, 2026, at the age of 97.
She is predeceased by her grandson Lee, her husband Peter as well as her daughter Sharon.
She is survived by her children Erlene (Leo), Byron, Mark, Rhonda, Jennifer (Danny), Allison (Scoop), Joanne (Peter), Darren, Andrew, Gail (Allister), Vickie-Sodi (Chris), Tricia (Trevor) and Sheila (Terry), her many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many other relatives and friends.
She has been entrusted to Poissant and Deer funeral home

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kahnawake Longhouse on route 207 starting on Wednesday November 4, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. A service will take place on Friday November 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Longhouse, followed by a burial at the Kahnawake Protestant Cemetery.
