Gordon, I 1st met you at Greene's house having a party before deployment with the 82nd back to Vietnam. I remember Johnny giving you a hard time about your puking buzzard combat patch (101st Airborne) just jesting with you. You stayed in touch with my family since my brothers death and even visiting with your family at our house with my father and mother. You told me things I never knew about the Lazy W battle and what happened. You will live in my heart and never be forgotten. RIP Gordon. A/ATW

I am so sorry to hear about Gordon's demise. As I look upon the picture depicted I do not see an older man but a young fighting spirit, I remember Gordon walking with me through the rice paddies and jungles of a faraway place that I thought I had forgotten..He was more than just a friend, he was my brother-in-arms. I will miss him, for he will always be with me in mind and spirit. Airborne All The Way my Brother
