It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Gar James Eugene Thihréhtha Cross, at the age of 65.
Predeceased by his parents Sherrill (nee Diome) and Eugene Cross and sister Kimmy Cross.
Gar dedicated his life to his family that he loved and cared for. He spent most of his years ironworking in New York to provide for his loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Veronica Hemlock. His sisters, Roxie (Ritchie) and Bonnie (Joe), His children and grandchildren, Cheyanne (Jake) Tokwirih’shon , Brine, Daisy, Jake, Meadow and Bossy. Dwayne (Angie) Sheldon, Gar, River and Shylah. Jadie (Derek) Iohsenní:io, Ieniehtahá:wi, Tyger and Byrdie. Forest , Summer, Rome, Echo ,Riyah, Ken’nikahrhà:sa, Max, Rebel, and Oney. Winter (Kirby Joe) Kaymen, Poppy, Dash, Sahakóhe and Kahnawahríhrhon. As well as his 16 great grand children whom he loved very much. Gar is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
The family will welcome relatives and friends on Friday, February 10 at 3pm at the Longhouse located on Route 207. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Sunday February 12th
