Obituary

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Alain Bujold, who passed away peacefully and serenely, surrounded by the love of his mother and sister, on October 18, 2026, at the Cité-de-la-Santé Hospital in Laval, at the age of 44.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Alain gently passed away, showing remarkable strength and courage until his very last moments. Despite the challenges life placed in his path, he demonstrated extraordinary resilience, leaving behind a true example of courage and determination.

A kind-hearted man, deeply cherished and loved by all, Alain was one of those special people whose kindness and presence leave an everlasting impression on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him. An avid fishing enthusiast, he found simple and precious happiness in those peaceful moments spent by the water. His passing, far too soon, leaves an immense void, but his memory will live on through the love he shared, and the treasured moments spent together.

He has now been reunited with his beloved father, Mr. René Bujold, who passed away in 2024, and with whom he now rests in peace and serenity.

He leaves to mourn his beloved mother, Johanne, and his cherished sister, Caroline, who accompanied him with so much love and devotion throughout his journey.

He also leaves behind his uncles, Raymond (Rosianne), André and Richard, his aunt Carole, his cousins, as well as many other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Mr. Bujold was entrusted to the care of Poissant & Fils Funeral Home.

In accordance with Alain’s final wishes, no funeral service will be held. His family will gather privately, respecting his wishes, to pay their final tribute to him with love and tenderness.

Your dedication, kindness, compassion, attentive listening, and deeply caring support were an invaluable source of comfort and strength for both Alain and his loved ones. Your thoughtful gestures and genuine compassion made a meaningful difference during these particularly difficult times.

A very special and heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Gabrielle Cardin for her dedication, presence, and compassionate care. From the bottom of their hearts, the family thanks you for all the kindness, humanity, and attention you showed Alain.

Alain, your courage will remain an inspiration, your smile a treasured memory, and your love a presence that will never fade.
