It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a strong, kind and generous Mohawk Man. Charlie passed away in the company of his loving family. Beloved husband of 53 years to June Skye-Stacey, proud father of his four children, Kyle (Jill), Katrina, Wihse and Akwiranoron (Katsitsanoron).
Survived by his sister, Pat and his brother John (Charlene). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and many, many friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Louise and George Stacey, his brothers and sister, Veronica, George, Tommy and David.
Charlie was an entrepreneur extraordinaire. He was employed by GE Dominion Engineering for 37 years. During that period, he also founded WK Tree Service and WWK Stacey Printing. In his ‘spare time’, you could find Charlie working in his garden, climbing a tree, travelling or just tinkering with cars or machinery.
Many thanks to all the dedicated and caring people that helped Charlie during his 7 years battle with Cancer. The Jewish General Hospital, Kateri Memorial Hospital, Kahnawake Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service and Medical Transport.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday September 30, 2023 from 11 am, followed by a ceremony on Sunday October 1, 2023 at 1pm at the parlor of Kahnawake.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made to the Kahnawake Fire Brigade Ambulance Service or to Tetewatatia’takehnhahs Purple Ribbon Walk.

My condolences, I met Charle back 1969 when I was close friends with David, Charle was proud of his chevelle at that time and we talked cars alot, he also did tree work for my mother.He was a kind and gentle man, and I will miss him. Rest in peace
