Marchand
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Serge Marchand on March 16th. He passed away peacefully at the age of 82.
Serge is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Jeanne (née Dionne); his two sons Pierre (Natalee) and Alain (Dominique); his five grandchildren: Emily, Melissa (Enwar), Mathieu, Sabrina (Jessy), and Anna (her mother Maria); and his four great-grandchildren: James, Leo, Andy, and Clara. He also leaves to mourn his sister Lorraine ( late Michel), his brother Mario (Martine), as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Claude, Normand, Jacques, Marielle, and Micheline.
He has been entrusted to the Poissant et Fils Funeral Home.

On Friday, April 25, 2025, the family will welcome relatives and friends at the Biodiversity Pavilion in Saint-Constant (66 rue du Maçon) for a celebration of life from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The sharing of testimonies will begin around 6 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Serge’s memory may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Bonjour Jeanne, Pierre et Alain.
Pierre et moi sommes désolés de ne pas être là avec vous, sympatiser, pleurer et même en rire
Quand je pense à Serge je le revois toujours avec ses bobettes jaunes faire des allées venues dans la rue, il m'a traumatisé pour le restant de ma vie mais outre cela, il a été avec vous trois de merveilleux voisins et amis, la vie est ainsi faite les gens qu'on aime meurt et nous attendons notre tour. Je vous souhaite à tous de garder son souvenir présent et continuer à avancer. Ça ne sera pas façile mais possible. Nos plus sincères et profondes condoléances en ce triste jour.

Toutes mes condoléances pour toi et ta belle grande famille. Le perte d'un être cher est sans doute douloureux et inconsolable, j'espère que ces quelques mots pourraient vous apporter un peu de réconfort:
