It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful Tsótewe Stacey on Friday September 15^th, 2023, at the young age of 18. Tsótewe will be greatly missed by all family and friends especially by her loving parents Watshennine Bear and Skaroniati Stacey, her brother Tekatsenhoken (Punk), her sisters Takawisenhawe (Rorhare) and Iakoteraswi:io. She will also be missed by her partner Tewenhniserahthe, her grandmothers Loris Jacco,  Charlene Phillips Stacey, and Palma Jacco, her grandfathers the late Anthony Bear, Steve Stacey, and Johnny Montour, her nieces and nephews, Iera’sestha, Iakaweriahsi:io, Waten’rions, Rahronhkehtsherenhá:wi, Katsenha’a, Otsenhakehte, Thawennarikhon, and Tehakehnho:rens, her aunties and uncles Lori, Katsitsienhawi, Addy, Lisa, Ronwanori, Jamie, Johnny and Joe and all her cousins Kawerine, Lia, Katsitsaiewate, Anatanon, Tharahkwisere, Tahaniehtatihentho and Roweiennathe and many more aunties, uncles and cousins from Kahnawà:ke to the Tobique Nations.

She was entrusted to the Poissant et Deer funeral home.

Nia:wen’kó:wa to the Kahnawà:ke Fire Brigade, Paramedics and the Trauma Unit at the Montreal General Hospital.  The family will be receiving relatives and friends at home on September 20^th,2023 at 2:00 pm Ceremony will be held on Friday September 22^nd, 2023 at 2:00pm followed by the burial at her home.
