Our Tathe left us on May 16, 2025, at the age of 50 at Kateri Memorial Hospital to continue his journey to the spirit world surrounded by his family and friends to join many loved ones. He possessed such strength and optimism as he bravely fought a courageous battle for the past 3 years.
He leaves to mourn his Mom, Arlene Teiohserahte (Horne), predeceased by his loving father, Gary Skahionhí:io Delaronde, his adoring sister, Marion Konwanénhon and cherished niece, Kahahserí:ne and nephew, Tekaientó:ton, God-Mother Tessie Stalk, many aunts, uncles cousins and loyal friends.
Our gratitude and thanks to the Kahnawake Fire Brigade and Medical Transport for the many transports and a special niawenhkó:wa to the incredible caregivers at Kateri Memorial Hospital who took such good care meeting all his needs with gentleness and always with a smile.
He was entrusted to Poissant and Deer.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 commencing 5:00 p.m. Service at Kahnawake United Church on Thursday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kahnawake Fire Brigade or Tetewatatia’takéhnha’s Purple Ribbon.
