Obituary
Henri
Savage
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Henri Savage, a resident of Saint-Rémi, who passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by the love of his family.
At the end of his life’s journey, Henri gently passed away surrounded by those he held most dear, leaving behind a family united by love and the precious memories they shared. A man with a generous heart, Henri will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, and a grandfather deeply attached to his family.
His presence, his affection, and all those little everyday moments that, with time, become our most treasured memories will forever remain engraved in the hearts of those who loved him.
Although his passing leaves an immense void, the love he shared throughout his life will continue to grow through the generations. For those we love never truly leave us; they remain present in our thoughts, in our actions, and in every cherished memory that brings a smile despite their absence.
Beloved husband of Mrs. Diane Monière, he leaves to mourn his cherished children, Martin (Isabelle) and Josée (Pascal); his precious grandchildren, Bianka (David), Félix-Antoine (Élizabeth), and Bianelle (Fabrice), to whom he was a loving, caring, and deeply treasured grandfather; as well as his beloved great-grandchildren, Abigaëlle, Isaac, Hayden, and Léa, who will carry on the legacy of their great-grandfather’s love through the memories lovingly passed down by their family.
He also leaves to mourn his sister Lyne, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends who will remember him with great affection.
Mr. Savage was entrusted to the care of:

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the entire healthcare team at Anna-Laberge Hospital in Châteauguay for the quality of care provided to Henri, as well as for their dedication, compassion, and kindness.
They would also like to extend their sincerest thanks to Dr. Amos Dorcely, along with the entire Home Support Services team at the CLSC of Saint-Rémi, for their exceptional care, remarkable availability, attentive listening, and unwavering kindness throughout this difficult journey.
A particularly heartfelt expression of gratitude is extended to Dr. Michèle Lemay, whose remarkable presence, gentleness, generosity of spirit, and unwavering dedication were an invaluable source of comfort to Henri and his loved ones.
Far beyond medical care, she offered a reassuring presence, a compassionate ear, and support filled with genuine humanity, allowing Henri to spend his final moments with dignity, tenderness, and serenity, surrounded by the love of his family.
To all those who, through their thoughtful gestures, professionalism, and compassion, made a meaningful difference during the final moments of his life, the family extends its deepest and most heartfelt thanks. Their invaluable support and extraordinary humanity will forever leave an indelible mark on the hearts of the entire family.
“A life comes to an end, but love remains. Memories then become the most beautiful treasures that time can never erase.”
