The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to the entire healthcare team at Anna-Laberge Hospital in Châteauguay for the attentive care, respect, and compassion shown to Rosaire throughout his final journey.
A particularly heartfelt and deeply emotional expression of gratitude is extended to Dr. Ruo Chen Zhang, whose compassion, gentleness, and extraordinary kindness brought immense comfort to Rosaire and his loved ones. Through her attentive listening, tenderness, and profound respect for his wishes, she accompanied him with remarkable humanity, allowing him to experience his final moments in peace, comfort, and dignity. Her reassuring presence and dedication will forever remain engraved in the hearts of the family.
Sincere thanks are also extended to the nurses, all members of the healthcare team, and every cherished individual who cared for him, surrounded him with affection, and helped make his final moments as peaceful as possible.
There are men who journey through life with pride, who stand firmly by their convictions, and who remain true to themselves until their very last breath. Rosaire was one of those men.
At 93, he had lived a full life, with stories to tell, memories to pass on, and, above all, a family to love. A man of great heart, proud and determined, he left a part of himself with each person he touched, through his actions, his words, and the precious moments they shared.
He embarked on his final journey in a way that reflected the man he had always been: with courage and dignity, at peace with a deeply personal decision, surrounded by the respect and love of those closest to him.
Today, although his absence will leave an immense void, may everyone find some comfort in knowing that he departed peacefully, according to his wishes, and that he has finally been reunited with the woman who held such a precious place in his heart, his beloved Paulette.
Rosaire, your story does not end with your passing. It lives on in the hearts of your children, in the smiles of your grandchildren, in the generations that follow you, and in all those cherished memories that time can never erase.
Rest in peace, Rosaire. You lived with pride, you departed with dignity, and you will remain forever loved.
