Denis
WALSH
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Denis Walsh on March 1, 2026, at Charles-Le Moyne Hospital at the age of 92. He joins his wife, Marina Chevarie.
He is survived by his children Joyce (Geneviève), the late Lynn, and Steve; his granddaughter Karine (Luc); his great-granddaughter Kasey (Travers); his great-great-grandson Negan; his sister-in-law Cécile Chevarie; Jazz and Chaplin; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Poissant & Son Funeral Home.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 22, starting at 1:00 p.m. A ceremony in his honor will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

Bonjour Joyce,
Malheureusement, je ne peux pas être avec toi pour les funérailles de ton père. Mais j’ai pensé à toi ces derniers jours. Je garde un excellent souvenir de Denis, un homme brillant et très drôle, « beau bonhomme » et sympathique comme tout. Il était super en forme la dernière fois que l’ai rencontré, c’était au funérailles de Fernand. Garde les meilleurs souvenirs près de toi. Marie et Philippe se joignent à moi pour te donner du courage. Une pensée aussi pour Jazz, fidèle compagne à quatre pattes dont on pleure longtemps l’absence. Ton cousin Denis xx

Triste nouvelle qui ressasse tellement de merveilleux souvenirs. Cette voix magnifique de crooner, les samedis soirs à CHRC, les rencontres avec mes parents, mais surtout cette magie survenue le 11 octobre 1986, cette interprétation de ''je t'appartiens''. Sincères condoléances à toute la famille et à toi particulièrement Joyce.
