Surrounded by her five children, Renée Ringuette passed away at the age of 81 on July 6, 2025.
Daughter of the late Arthur Ringuette and the late Clarisse Brisebois, she was born in Huntingdon.
Driven by a deep vocation, she began her studies at the École Normale Supérieure to become a teacher. She then joined her life with the man of her heart, the late Pierre Boyer. Together, they formed a loving and close-knit couple, facing joys and challenges hand in hand, including the death of their daughter Marie-Claude.
A woman of heart and spirit, Renée devoted all her love and energy to serving her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe.
Following Pierre’s passing, she joined Isidore Arsenault, with whom she shared many wonderful years filled with affection and closeness.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Stéphane (Elène), Véronique (Carl), Julie (Richard), François (Jocelyne), and Renée-Pier (François); her grandchildren: Frédérik, Marie, Laurie, Charlotte, Élizabeth, Laurent, Jessica, Émilie, and Paul-Émile; and her sisters: Ghislaine, Rachel, and Micheline. She peacefully joins her sister Raymonde and her brothers Jean and Gilles, who predeceased her. She was also a cherished aunt and sister-in-law to the Ringuette, Boyer, and Arsenault families, and a devoted friend to many who were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and generosity.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 27, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Poissant & Fils funeral complex in Saint-Constant. A farewell ceremony will be held at the same location at 4 p.m.
