It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Georges Pouliot, which occurred on December 10, 2025, at Charles-Le Moyne Hospital. He was 79 years old and the beloved husband of Mrs. Louise Barre.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his children: Martin (Josée Lalande), Stéphanie (Alain Beaulne), and his stepdaughter Catherine Tremblay (Nicolas Racine); his grandchildren: Emmanuelle, Justin, Florence, Jade, Florence, Charlotte, and Zachary; his sisters: Louise (Ghislain Tougas) and Hélène; as well as his sister-in-law Suzanne, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home Ltd.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a farewell ceremony in the chapel of the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the healthcare staff of the Oncology and Hematology Department at Charles-Le Moyne Hospital for the excellent care provided to Mr. Georges Pouliot.
