It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Agathe Mercier-Croteau of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on January 6, 2026, at the Gertrude-Lafrance Long-Term Care Centre, at the age of 94. Wife of Mr. Adrien Croteau, she joins her parents, brothers, and sisters.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to mourn her children Suzie (Alain), Denis (Johanne), Sylvain (Jenny), André (Sonia), and Marc (Jacynthe); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister Pierrette (Denis); as well as many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home.

The family will receive condolences there on Friday, January 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A ceremony will follow in the chapel of the complex at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are encouraged to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
