LEMIRE
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Catherine Lemire, of Saint-Rémi, who passed away suddenly on February 20, 2026, at Anna-Laberge Hospital, at the age of 46.
Catherine was a bright and loving woman, always there for others. Her laughter and smile will remain forever in our hearts.
Catherine has gone to join her mother and leaves behind her father, André Lemire, her sister, Julie Lemire (Sylvain Lavoie), her niece, Hemi Lavoie, and her godchild, Hendy Lavoie, as well as many friends and acquaintances.

J’ai eu le plaisir de croiser Catherine lors de quelques rencontres syndicales, ce qui fut suffisant pour que j’en garde le souvenir d’une femme vibrante, impliquée et authentique. Sa voix, son sourire et son énergie positive auront marqué ces échanges. Apprendre son départ fut un choc.
Je pense à la douleur de ses proches face à cette perte prématurée d’une fille, sœur et tante; mes pensées vous accompagnent dans ce moment d’une tristesse infinie.
