At the CHSLD (long-term care facility) in La Prairie, on February 11, 2026, at the age of 62, Mrs. Hélène Lavoie, wife of Mr. François Bilodeau, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. A native of Chicoutimi, she was predeceased by her mother, Mrs. Ghislaine Imbeault.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her father, Mr. Réal Lavoie (Doris); her children: Myriam (Jean-François) and Simon (Alexandra); her grandchildren: Alexy, Kimberly, Léanny, Tommy, Jérémy, and Paul-Antoine; her brother, Denis; as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jean-Paul, Jacques (Thérèse), Pierre (Francine), Michel, Thérèse, and Huguette (Serge); and many other relatives and friends.
She was entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home Ltd.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Salon A of the Saint-Constant funeral home, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a farewell ceremony in the chapel at 12:00 p.m.
A memorial service and interment of the ashes will take place at a later date in Saguenay.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the CHSLD de La Prairie for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Hélène Lavoie.
