Surrounded by his loved ones at the palliative care unit of the CHSLD de LaPrairie on October 16, 2025, at the age of 73, Mr. Claude Gibeau of Sainte-Catherine, husband of Mrs. Carmen Poissant, passed away.
In addition to his wife Carmen, he is survived by his three daughters, Marie-Claude (Sébastien), Nathalie (Max), and Caroline (Pascal); his grandchildren, Alexandre, Mathis, Loïc, Joey, Alice, Philippe, Arthur, Dastan, Léonie, and Karl; his brothers, Robert (Marie-Lyse) and Denis (Katerine), his sister Rosane (Gary), his brothers-in-law, Pierre (Nathalie), Daniel (Danielle), his sister-in-law Solange (Michel), his nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends.
He has been entrusted to the Poissant & Fils Funeral Home Ltd.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a farewell ceremony at 12 p.m. in the complex’s chapel.
