Dion
Surrounded by the love of his daughter, on May 17, 2026, at the age of 73, Mr. Daniel Dion of Saint-Constant peacefully passed away, son of the late Mr. Charles Dion and Mrs. Jeanne Veronneau.
He has gone to reunite with his beloved son, Pierre-Olivier Dion, who passed away ten years ago and whose absence left an immense void in the hearts of all who loved him.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Esther, as well as many relatives, friends, and acquaintances who will cherish his memory.
Mr. Daniel Dion was entrusted to Poissant et fils Funeral Home.

His daughter Esther will receive condolences from relatives and friends on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A guest book will be made available to everyone wishing to mark their presence throughout the weekend, leave their contact information if they wish, and share a memory, anecdote, tribute, thought, or a few words in Daniel’s memory. A box will also be available for those who would prefer to prepare in advance a personal message, card, or note, with or without an envelope. For those who wish, this box may also be used for donations.
The family sincerely thanks all those who take the time to leave a thought or tribute; these gestures of comfort will be deeply appreciated.
A sincere thank you to everyone who will offer their support during this difficult time. One of Daniel’s final wishes was to keep his Facebook page exactly as it is. It would be appreciated if this obituary were not shared on social media, except through private messages.

Chère Esther, c'est avec émotion que je viens t'offrir mes plus sincères condoléances! Le départ soudain de ton père m'a touché particulièrement et j'ai peine à réaliser son Envol au Pays de l'Âme où il a rejoint Pierre-Olivier, son cher fils bien-aimé, qui l'a accueilli avec tendresse, les bras grands ouverts car fini les souffrances humaines. Je comprends et partage ta peine belle Esther et serai très heureuse de passer un petit moment avec toi lorsque cela me sera possible. On se reparlera de ce charmant ami Daniel et des petits souvenirs en mémoire du temps où il a travaillé avec moi chez Promokit...on l'appelait affectueusement notre petit fonctionnaire car il prenait sa pause à 10 hre tapant, avec sa pomme sur le coin de son bureau et c'était sacré...Loll Je garde un excellent souvenir de lui et c'était toujours agréable de se parler au téléphone ou sur messenger...! Aurevoir Daniel et bon courage chère Esther, car mes pensées de réconfort t'accompagnent pour les temps à venir. Nous savons qu'ils ne sont pas très loin...juste de l'autre côté du Voile...!
