At the Charles-Le Moyne Hospital, on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, Mrs. Eleanor Buck passed away peacefully. Born in Grindstone on the Magdalen Islands, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Rennie (Ginty) Buck and the late Mrs. Dorothy (Doll) McLean.
She was the beloved wife of Mr. Julien Bourgeois for 63 years and a beloved mother to her two daughters: Diane (François) and Deborah (Jean-Pierre). A woman of kindness and devotion, she leaves behind the precious memory of a loving presence deeply cherished by all who knew her.
She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Mathieu (Kelly), Kimberly (Guillaume), Vanessa (John), Karine, and Jessica; as well as her great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Cedrik, Riley, Zoe, Ellie, Layla, and Jake.
She was entrusted to the care of Poissant & Fils

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Salon B of the Saint-Constant Funeral Complex, followed by a farewell ceremony in the chapel at 4:00 p.m.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Martin Cloutier and his team at the Neuro-Rive-Sud Clinic for their kindness, support, and dedicated care. They also extend their gratitude to Dr. Laurent Boisvert of Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne for his guidance and compassion.
Interment will take place at a later date in private.
